This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit battlereadyfirearmscoating.com. We have written it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.
The short version
As of today this website is a brochure. It has no contact forms, no accounts, no shopping cart, and no advertising or analytics trackers. We do not ask you for personal information here, and we do not sell information about you to anyone. If you want to reach us, you call or email, and then we have whatever you chose to tell us.
We are building an online store. When it launches it will collect the things any store has to collect — your name, contact details, and shipping address — and this policy will be rewritten to cover that before the first order is taken.

What is collected automatically
Like essentially every website, ours runs on a hosting service that keeps standard server logs. Those logs may include your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed, and the date and time. This happens automatically, we do not use it to identify you, and it exists only to keep the site running and secure.
The site is hosted by Vercel, and their handling of that log data is governed by their own privacy policy.
The map on our Visit section
We embed a Google Map so you can find the shop. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies in your browser, exactly as if you had visited Google Maps directly. That is Google collecting it, not us, and it is governed by Google's privacy policy. We receive nothing from it.
This is the only third-party content on the site. If you would rather not load it, most browsers let you block third-party content, and the shop address is written out in plain text on the page either way.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own, and we run no advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or analytics software. The only cookies you might pick up here come from the embedded Google Map described above.
Information you give us directly
If you call, email, message us on social media, or bring work into the shop, we will have whatever you choose to share — typically your name, phone number, email, and details about the work you want done. We use it to quote your job, do the work, contact you about it, and keep the records we are required to keep as a federal firearms licensee.
We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Records we are required to keep
As a licensed FFL, certain records about firearms and service work are required by federal law, including making them available to the ATF. Those legal obligations override anything in this policy, and we comply with them.
Who else sees your information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- With vendors or suppliers when it is necessary to complete your specific job
- When required by law, subpoena, or a lawful government request, including ATF recordkeeping and inspection
- To protect our rights, our property, or someone's safety
Your choices
You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. Either way, just call or email and ask — we will not make you jump through hoops.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No website or business can promise perfect security, but we store no customer information on this website at all, which removes most of the risk.
Changes to this policy
If we add a contact form, an online store, or anything else that collects information, we will update this policy and change the effective date at the top before that feature goes live.
