Terms & Disclaimer

Effective August 18, 2026 · Battle Ready Firearms & Coating, LLC

These terms cover the use of battlereadyfirearmscoating.com and set expectations for the work we do. Nothing here replaces the conversation we have with you about your specific job — it just puts the basics in writing so there are no surprises.

What you can and cannot do on this site

We sell gear at the shop — game calls, trail cameras, optics, and other outdoor equipment — alongside our Cerakote, gunsmithing, and engraving work. This website does not currently take online orders or payments. Everything is arranged in person, by phone, or by email for now.

You cannot buy, order, transfer, or arrange the sale of a firearm through this website, and nothing on it is an offer to sell a firearm. Every firearm transaction happens at the shop, in person, under federal and Texas law.

We are building an online store. When it launches, additional terms covering orders, shipping, and returns will apply to those purchases, and this page will be updated before the first order is taken.

Prices and turnaround are estimates

Any pricing or timeframe mentioned on this site or in conversation is an estimate, not a binding quote. Real cost and schedule depend on the condition of your item, the work required, parts availability, and how busy the shop is. We confirm the actual price with you before we start, and we tell you if something changes mid-job.

Your responsibility as the owner

When you bring us work, you are confirming that you legally own or are lawfully authorized to possess the item, and that you are legally allowed to have it worked on and returned to you. You are responsible for knowing and following the federal, state, and local laws that apply to you. We reserve the right to decline any job, for any reason, including when we are not comfortable with it.

Items left with us

We keep the records required of a federal firearms licensee for items that come into our possession. Please pick up your property promptly when we tell you the work is finished. If an item goes unclaimed, we will make reasonable attempts to reach you at the contact information you gave us, and any eventual disposition will follow applicable federal and Texas law. Storage of unclaimed property is not a service we offer.

About the finish work

We are a Cerakote Certified applicator and we hold prep, cure, and thickness to the manufacturer's specification. Cerakote is a genuinely durable finish, but it is a finish — not armor. Normal use, holster wear, solvents, abrasion, and heat will show over time, and that is expected rather than a defect.

Color can vary slightly between batches, between substrates, and from how a color looks on a screen or a sample. If exact color matching matters to your project, tell us before we start.

On older, worn, damaged, or previously modified items, some conditions only become visible once work begins. We will stop and talk to you before doing anything that changes the scope or the price.

Workmanship

We stand behind our work. If something is wrong with what we did, bring it back and talk to us — that is how we have always handled it. This does not cover normal wear, damage from use or misuse, work performed by someone else, or problems that existed in the item before it reached us.

Nothing here is legal or safety advice

Information on this site is general and for description only. It is not legal advice about firearms law, and it is not a substitute for safe handling training or the manufacturer's instructions for your specific firearm. Always follow safe handling practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Texas law, our liability for any claim relating to this website or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific job in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some limitations may not apply to you depending on your state.

Links to other sites

We link to our profiles on Cerakote, Facebook, and Instagram, and we embed a Google Map. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Parker County, Texas.

Changes

We may update these terms as the business changes — for example, if we add an online store. The effective date at the top will tell you when they last changed.
